Pineapple Bacon Burgers

Description

The pineapple, barbecue sauce, and bacon in this recipe make for super moist and delicious burgers!

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs grass fed ground beef
  • 1/2 c Dr. Brown approved BBQ sauce or homemade
  • 1 t sea salt
  • 1 organic pineapple cut into rings and cored
  • 1 pkg uncured turkey bacon
  • 1 t pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. In large mixing bowl mix beef, bbq sauce, salt and pepper.
  3. Mix well and form patties about the size of your palm
  4. Place pineapple ring on top of patties and then cross 2 pieces of bacon across top of pineapple and place underneath burger.
  5. Place in oven for 25-30 minutes or on hot grill that has been brushed with oil until cooked to an internal temperature of 165F.
