Paleo BBQ Ice- Burger

Description

Nothing quite hits the spot like a big, juicy burger! Well with this recipe you can stay true to your diet but still enjoy the flavor combos of a classic hamburger.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 cup paleo barbecue sauce or homemade
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 head iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 red onion slices thin
  • 1 Roma tomato, sliced
  • 1/4 c hamburger dill pickles
  • 6 oz sliced Manchego cheese (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 T worchestershire

Instructions

  1. Form burger patties.
  2. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, a couple drops Worchestershire and baste with BBQ sauce.
  3. Place in grill and cook till desired wellness reached (helpful tip: if you have an indoor grill or George Forman, line with parchment paper top and bottom and cook burgers. No hassle easy clean up)
  4. Prepare lettuce by peeling leaves or slicing. Wash and dry well.
  5. Layer burger with onions, tomatoes, and pickles and enjoy.
