Bacon Wrapper Chicken Strips

Description

These paleo bacon wrapper chicken strips are the perfect finger food to please both kids and adults alike!


Scale

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken tenders
  • 16 oz turkey bacon
  • 1/2 c organic, raw local honey
  • 1/2 c dijon or stone ground mustard
  • Sea salt and black pepper to taste
  • Dash of paprika

Instructions

  1. Pre heat oven to 375F.
  2. Slice bacon stripes in half long ways.
  3. Wrap each chicken tender with strip of bacon.
  4. In a small bowl mix honey, mustard, salt and pepper.
  5. Lay bacon wrapped tenders in baking dish.
  6. Baste with honey mustard mixture.
  7. Place in oven for 25-30 minutes. Once cooked turn Broil to high and watch carefully to crisp Bacon.
  8. Remove and serve with honey, honey mustard or Paleo ranch.
