I’ve been wanting to do this blog post for several months now {ever since school started!} I’m embarrassed to admit that it has taken me this long to do it, but nonetheless, I am very excited to finally share it …

If you are like me, school mornings can be super hectic and finding the time to make the kids lunches much less make them uber healthy can be difficult! So I spent some time this week brainstorming on 5 school lunches that are completely Dr. Brown approved. So here’s what’s on the menu and hopefully it will inspire you with some unique options:

Day 1:

Turkey & Manchego Cheese Roll Ups

Tomato, Avocado & Balsamic Vinaigrette Salad

Black Olives

Pineapples

Organic Pressed Fruit Strip

TurkeySchoolLunch

Day 2:

Organic All Beef Hot Dog (Broiled in oven and cooled to room temp)

Sweet Potato Fries and Ketchup (Fries broiled with hot dog in oven and cooled to room temp)

Plain Sheep Yogurt with Walnuts, Raisins, & a Dollop of Pure Maple Syrup

Green Peas (Freeze Dried or Previously Steamed, Cooled, and Chilled)

Day 3:

Four Boiled Egg Halves (Seasoned with salt and paprika)

Green Bell Pepper Slices with Ranch Dip

Sweet Potato Chips

Grapes

Day 4:

2 Strips of Turkey Bacon Strips (Can be precooked in the oven and stored in the fridge until used)

Almond Butter Apple Sandwich

Carrots and Ranch Dip

Pistachios

Pickles

BaconSchoolLunch

Day 5:

Homemade “Lunchable” Pizzas:

  • 2 Mini Paleo Pizza Crusts
  • Shredded Manchego Cheese,
  • Organic Pasta Sauce
  • Organic Turkey Pepperonis

Ants on a Log (Celery, Almond Butter & Raisins)

Banana
