As most of you know, last month my husband and I embarked on a Whole30 journey where we committed to eat only real food (no processed foods or sugar) for a full 30 days. As described in my previous posts, I fused the Whole30 concept with the Dr. Brown Diet that we promote on our website by only using recipes from our database during these 30 days. There were TONS of recipes to choose from since Dr. Brown’s recommendations are VERY similar to the parameters of a Whole30. I know many have sparked an interest in trying a Whole30 for themselves or are currently doing one and need more recipe ideas, so as promised, here is a list of some of my favorite recipes on our website that are Whole30 Approved.
Breakfast:
Breakfast Protein Cups (omitting cheese)
Strawberry Flat Cakes **my favorite!
Quick and Easy Omelet (omitting cheese)
Peach Paradise Smoothie **Kid’s Favorite!
Harvest Breakfast Smoothie (omitting honey)
Lunch:
BLT Salad (omitting cheese)
Grilled Chicken Cranberry Pecan Salad (omitting cheese and the maple syrup from the dressing)
Dinner:
Fish—
Chicken —
Beef —
Beef and Veggie Foil Bake (using coconut aminos)
Turkey —
Eggplant and Tomato Turkey Burgers (omitting cheese)
Sides:
Again this is just a small sample of recipes that are available on our website that are Whole30 Approved! The recipes that technically aren’t approved include cooking wine, pure maple syrup, raw, local honey, wheat-free Worcestershire or Tamari, or goat or sheep cheese, all of which can obviously be substituted or omitted. I hope this comprehensive list serves as a valuable resource in meal planning for those committing to a Whole30.
Of course, if you struggle to create meal plans on your own and the thought of cooking 3 meals a day/7 days a week completely overwhelms you OR if you are coming off a Whole30 and looking for a more sustainable solution to stay on track, our meal planning service may be just what you need! With this service you will gain access to four Dr. Brown approved dinner recipes along with the corresponding grocery list every week. We create our meal plans with the goal of helping families implement feasible and manageable changes to their lifestyle and eating habits. We understand life can be crazy and that its hard to cook at home every night and that cooking healthy, paleo-based meals can be even more of a challenge. So if this is you, we’d be glad to help you!
Anyone have any go-to Whole30 approved/Dr. Brown approved recipes you’d like to share? Comment below with your favorites. I’d love to check them out.
Happy eating!
These are great! Will definitely check them out. The Zesty Tuna Salad is my absolute favorite!
