Spaghetti Sauce and Zucchini Noodles

Description

Zucchini noodles topped with classically seasoned ground beef and homemade tomato sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs Grassfed Ground Beef
  • 1 Large Red Onion
  • 1/2 c Red Wine
  • 1 T Honey
  • 1 T Grassfed Butter
  • 1 T Minced Garlic
  • 1 T Orégano
  • 1 jar (18 oz) Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1 14 oz can Diced Tomatoes (drained)
  • 1 T Dried Basil
  • 1 t Dried Thyme
  • 4 Large Zucchini
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet heat butter
  2. Add onion and ground beef, brown the beef
  3. Add garlic, oregano, basil, diced tomato, thyme salt and pepper.
  4. Stir in well and cook 1-2 minutes.
  5. Add wine and cook for 2 minutes.
  6. Add crushed tomato and honey and turn heat to low for 20 minutes and cover and simmer
  7. Turn zucchini into noodles and steam or sauté in pan with a little olive oil or butter.
  8. Plate zucchini and cover with spaghetti sauce. Serve with side salad
