Ingredients
- 4 New York Strip Steaks (8oz each)
- 1/2 c Pinot Grigio
- 1 t Salt
- 1 T Cracked Peppercorns
- 1 t Garlic Salt
- 1 T Pasture Butter
- 1 T Olive Oil
Instructions
- Season and rub Steak on Both Sides with pepper, salt and garlic.
- Heat skillet with butter and oil. Add Steak to hot skillet and allow to crust on each side.
- Turn the steak only once. Once both sides are crusted, add pinot and cover. Cook 5 minutes or so. Remove lid and allow remaining wine to cook out.
- Rub steaks in remaining juices in pan and place on plate.
- Allow to rest for 5-10 minutes for a medium steak. Cover with foil after removing from pan for medium well steak.
