Italian Flat Bread Pizza

Description

This slightly sweet Italian pizza dish is completely paleo and absolutely delicious…. you won’t even miss the grains!

Ingredients

  • 2 Italian flat breads
  • 1/2 lb smoked uncured turkey kielbasa
  • 1 c fresh spinach
  • 1/2 yellow or white onion
  • 1 c tomato paste or sauce
  • 1/2 c sliced black olives
  • 8 oz. Manchego cheese sliced thin. about 1/8 inch
  • 2 T Fine Romano sheep cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Make Italian flat breads according to instructions.
  3. Slice sausage, onion, olive, spinach, and cheese.
  4. Once crust is cooked and cooled to room temp, spread tomato sauce across top of flat bread crust.
  5. Add 1/2 the sliced Manchego cheese.
  6. Add Half the sliced sausage, spinach, onion and olive.
  7. Top with 1 T sprinkled Romano cheese.
  8. Repeat on the additional flat bread crust.
  9. Bake for 15 Minutes.
  10. Turn on Broiler to high for 2-3 minutes to crisp up top of pizza. Make sure you watch close during the broiler time as it can burn quickly.
