Bacon BBQ Chicken Kabobs

Description

This tangy BBQ dish is savory and delicious, and the kabobs make them convenient to eat … perfect to bring to the next potluck party!

Ingredients

  • 10 oz Organicville tangy BBQ sauce or Homemade Version
  • ¼ c bourbon
  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1″ pieces (OR WHOLE CHICKEN BREAST)
  • 2 t sea salt
  • 1 t ground black pepper
  • ½ t garlic powder
  • ½ t onion powder
  • 2 T paprika
  • 1 1/2 T maple syrup
  • 1 T smoked paprika
  • 6 slices cooked bacon, cut into small pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill and brush well with olive oil, coconut oil or non stick spray.
  2. Cut chicken into 1 inch pieces and combine with 3/4 of bbq sauce. (leave remaining sauce clean for serving at dinner)
  3. Sea salt, black pepper, onion powder, paprika, garlic powder, maple syrup, smoked paprika, and cooked bacon. Pulse until completely smooth.
  4. Add bacon mixture to chicken and bbq sauce. Once well-coated, thread the chicken onto metal skewers.
  5. Place the kebabs on the preheated grill. Cook for about 5 minutes per side, or until nearly cooked through.
  6. Brush the kebabs with the barbecue sauce and cook for an additional minute on each side.
  7. REMOVE FROM GRILL, SERVE AND ENJOY!
