Simple Jalapeño Chicken Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs cooked chicken (boiled, leftover, rotisserie)
  • 48 oz chicken stock
  • 1 t white pepper
  • 1 t sea salt
  • 1/2 t garlic powder
  • 1/4 c chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 small jalapenos sliced
  • 1/4 c sliced green onions

Instructions

  1. In a large stock pan heat stock over medium heat.
  2. Add pepper, salt and garlic powder and bring to boil.
  3. Reduce heat to simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. Chop cilantro, jalapeños, and green onions while broth is warming.
  5. Warm or cook chicken by preferred method.
  6. In your soup bowl add warmed chicken, green onions, jalapeños and cilantro to liking. Pour broth over chicken and vegetables.
  7. Serve.
