Oven BBQ Brisket

Description

This Bar-B-Que Brisket is dynamite. Oven crisped and full of flavor you would never guess it’s paleo!


Scale

Ingredients

  • 3 lb beef brisket
  • 1 T raw organic honey
  • 1 1/2 t paprika
  • 2 t dry ground mustard
  • 2 t sea salt and pepper
  • 1 t onion powder
  • 1 t cayenne
  • Paleo bbq sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 275F.
  2. Mix paprika, mustard, salt, pepper, onion powder, and cayenne in a small bowl.
  3. Rub onto brisket well.
  4. Drizzle with honey and place in dutch oven.
  5. Cook for 3 Hours.
  6. Remove and scrape pan and cover brisket with bbq sauce.
  7. Place back in oven and cook an additional 30 minutes.
  8. While brisket is cooking, make a batch of Grain Free Buns.
  9. Remove brisket from oven once cooking is done.
  10. Slice and serve on buns.
