Chimichurri Grilled Steak

Description

Chimichurri sauce adds South American flavor to any dish and makes the grilled steak in this recipe absolutely delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 t Fresh Cracked Pepper
  • 1/2 t Garlic powder
  • 1 t Sea Salt
  • 1/4 t Ground Cumin
  • 1/8 t paprika
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 1 1/2 to 2 pound NY Strip Steak or Tenderloin
  • Olive Oil to brush the grill
  • 1 1/2 Cups Chimichurri Sauce

Instructions

  1. In a bowl combine pepper, garlic, salt, cumin, paprika, and chili powder.
  2. Lay steak on foil, rub mixture onto meat. Cover with aluminum foil. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
  3. Preheat gas grill on high setting. Once heated brush grill with oil.
  4. Cook steak on high for 2 minutes on each side. Reduce heat to medium and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Remove and allow to cool for 10 minutes.
  6. Slice against the grain.
  7. Transfer to serving platter, spoon chimichurri sauce over the top and serve.
