Here’s a yummy paleo bread recipe you can serve as dessert or heat up for breakfast. It uses all real food ingredients like cashew butter, hazelnut meal, bananas, and blueberries and no processed sugar or flour. You could even bring it to Thanksgiving dinner next week for a Dr. Brown approved dessert everyone is sure to love!
Ingredients:
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 c frozen blueberries
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • ½ t baking powder
  • ½t baking soda
  • 1 t vanilla
  • ¼ c maple syrup
  • ½ c cashew butter
  • 5 T butter softned
  • ¼ c crushed walnuts
  • ¼ c hazelnut meal + 1 T

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350F, and grease a 8×8 square pan with butter.

In a large bowl add maple syrup, eggs, bananas, and vanilla, and blend.

Add cashew butter and cream together.

In a small bowl mix cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and ¼ c hazlenut meal, and together.

Add blueberries and coat in dry mixture.

Fold blueberry mixture into wet banana mixture.

Pour batter into pan.

In a small bowl mash butter, and hazlenut meal and combine together. Add walnuts and create a crumble.

Place crumble on top of blueberry banana batter.

Bake in oven for 35-40 minutes, and remove once toothpick comes out clean. Remove and allow to cool slightly. Serve.
