Hi friends! Hope everyone is healthy and happy. Last weekend was the big event I had been preparing for! And, drumroll please…..I FIT in the dress and had a blast dancing the night away. It was such a beautiful wedding, and I couldn’t be happier for the newlyweds. Even though I experienced some setbacks this summer due to unexpected personal issues and didn’t hit my 40 lb weight loss goal, I am happy to say that I was still able to see a significant loss in inches! Check it out:

Measurements: 4.28.2015 / 6.11.2015 / 8.18.2015

Waist: 42 inches/ 39 in / 37 in =  – 5 in
Hips: 48 inches/ 45 in / 45 in =  – 3 in
Bust: 45.5 inches/ 43 in / 43 in = – 2.5 in
Thighs:
L:  29.5 inches/ 28 in / 24 in = – 5.5 in
R: 29 inches/ 28 in / 24.5 in = – 4.5 in
Calves:
L: 16 inches/ 16 3/4 in / 16 in = 0 in
R: 16 inches/ 16 3/4 in / 16 in = 0 in
Biceps:
L: 16.75 inches/ 16 in / 14.5 in = – 2.25 in
R: 16.75 inches/ 16 in / 15.5 in = – 1.25 in
Behind: 48.75 inches/ 47.25 in / 46.5 in = – 2.25 in

Total: 26.25 inches lost!

It’s hard to believe I could lose that many inches without seeing very much change in weight (about 15 lbs max.) I guess I have been building more muscle than I had realized!

Even though I am proud of my results so far and feel a lot better, I am still nowhere near where I want to be. I am only a few short months away from my 30th birthday. O.M.G. 30. I hear it’s all down hill from there, but I’m determined to put myself in prime position at the very peak of the hill before it starts going down. Lol. (I don’t actually believe this is the case, especially with the Dr.Brown diet.) But this age milestone is motivating me to push myself to look and feel my very best, and I’m hoping that by putting this out there, I will find the strength and accountability I need to actually reach my goal:

I’d like to go from a Size 16 to a Size 10 by Dec 1st.

I know it is ambitious, but I also know I can do it, especially with your help. What is your next set of goals? What do you want to achieve? Want to join me on the new Marpe Challenge? Come along and let’s get in shape for the holidays together!

Marpé Challenge Round 2. Let’s do this.
